InterAct Story Theatre gratefully accepts donations of goods and items that can be used in our programs or in the classrooms of the students we serve. If you have items to donate, please email us! Examples of some of the items we happily accept:
- School and art supplies: pencils, pens, markers, crayons, paper, cardboard, cardstock, posterboard, tape, glue, etc.! InterAct frequently provides basic supplies so that kids can engage in creative work in the classroom, and we appreciate your donated items!
- Technology: Used mobile phones (not connected to a service, but in working condition); storage drives; functional microUSB cables; used iPads, iPods, MP3 players; audio speakers and equipment; microphones; recording devices; cameras; video cameras and equipment; and other technology that can be used by students in media arts/arts technology workshops. InterAct incorporates technology into our performances as well as our classroom work.
- Fabric, Craft supplies and Carpentry/Hardware tools and materials: We use a lot of fabric and craft supplies for costumes, sets and workshops! As part of our aesthetic as a "green company", we try to do our part to reduce, reuse, and recycle by incorporating existing materials in our sets and costumes. Your donations of tools and materials help us achieve our goal, and help us send a great message to the kids for whom we perform...that we can transform used items and everyday objects into something creative, imaginative and wonderful!
